My Brothers, my Kakilang

In life, some people are lucky enough to find themselves 1 best friend to make their days fun, look out for them, take care of them when needed, make them laugh, cry with them and an extra house they can sleep in. I consider myself very lucky in this regard as I have 5 best friends (at least I consider them so). Let me start by telling you how I met each of them chronologically.

#1 Lionel Seah Yuan Jih
During the first day of school in Standard 1, Lionel and I were in the same class and took the same bus home. My mummy met Lionel's mother then too. So Lionel's mother asked me to make sure that Lionel is on the bus with me everyday.

#2 Chiam Tat Ren
Forgive me buddy, but I actually forgot how we met for the first time. I know I have known you since Standard 3. I was there for your Standard 5 and 6 birthdays. Do post these videos if you have them.

Tat Ren and I sat next to each other for 3 years in high school.

#3 Gary Yew Wei Ming
Gary and I first got acquainted back in Standard 6. I was at home enjoying a computer game when suddenly my house bell rang. I went out to find a friend and another person outside. This other person was wearing a white shirt but was half covered in mud. This other person said "I fell into the deep part of the river, can I borrow a shirt from you?" Since then Gary and I started to hangout.

#4 Chew Jien Hoong
In Form 1, I was a probationary prefect hopeful of becoming a full-fledge prefect. I was stationed at a particular spot during recess and I found that the person stationed at the same place I am was a tall, white looking fella. We introduced ourselves to each other and since then we became close friends.

#5 Kenneth Liew Vui Khen
In Form 1 again, Jien introduced me to a friend of his from primary school during Moral Class (my class had Moral period with 1 Cempaka, Jien's class). He was a very tall and shy (back then la, now he damn gangsta already) chap. He told me his name was Kenneth.

It has been at least 7 years since I knew all of you. Indeed we have been through so much together. If I was to even tell about the highlights of our stories, it would be a very long story, so I would leave that for another day. So many things have changed since we first met. We used to look different, we used to be in the same school. Now 3 of you are in Adelaide, 2 of you are back home and I am in Canberra. Thank you for everything, I pray for you all everynight and I look forward to going to Vegas with you all in 2012.
